This music spans from the Renaissance all the way to 20th Century cinematic pieces.  It is purely instrumental and serves best as background music for ceremonies.  The repertoire consists of composers like Francisco Tarrega, Albeñiz, and Bach.  Although many prominent composers did not write music for the guitar itself, a lot of their music was later transcribed for the instrument.
